Longitudinally Submerged Arc Welded Pipe (LSAW) is a kind of SAW pipe made of steel plate hot rolled by JCOE forming technology. JCOE technology represents the forming and forming processes involved in the manufacturing process, as well as the internal and external welding and cold expansion carried out after welding. Here are the detailed steps for LASW production:

1. Raw material preparation: The selection of hot-rolled or cold-rolled steel plates that meet the standards, usually with a certain strength and thickness, is used as the raw material for LSAW steel pipes.


2. Pre-treatment: the raw materials are vacuum hung on the machine tool to prevent damage to the raw materials, ultrasonic testing is carried out to check whether the raw materials have cracks or deformation, if the quality of the raw materials is no problem, it will be milling treatment, the two sides of the steel plate clean, in order to facilitate subsequent processing.


3. Bending or bending molding: The steel plate after milling can be bent or bent to turn it into a slotted steel pipe for the next step of welding.


4. Welding: After bending or bending the steel plate has become a seam steel pipe, it must be pre-welded before welding. Then weld the arc plate and weld the steel pipe inside and outside at the same time. After the welding, remove the arc plate and enter the next procedure.


5. Inspection: The welded steel pipe needs to be tested by ultrasonic and X-ray again to check whether the welding is complete or whether there are cracks or dents in the welding process. If there is no problem, the shape of the steel pipe will be more standard through mechanical expanding.

Then through the water pressure test to check whether the bearing capacity of the steel pipe is up to standard. When there is no problem, the end treatment is carried out, and then ultrasonic detection is carried out again for X-ray examination and film.


6. Inspection of the finished product in anti-corrosion: the finished product is weighed and measured, the anti-corrosion treatment (galvanized and coating, etc.), and finally marked.

Through the above steps, LSAW steel pipes can be successfully produced. It can meet natural gas. The various needs of high-pressure oil transmission pipelines can be used for onshore and offshore oil and gas transmission.
