Do you know what are the three welding methods of stainless welded steel pipes?
Stainless welded steel pipe can be seen everywhere in our daily life, such as handrails, railings and so on. Among them, stainless welded steel pipes are also often used in the construction industry and industry. The production process of stainless welded steel pipe is more complex, and there are strict requirements for production technology. Stainless welded steel pipes have strong stability and corrosion resistance, and different stainless welded steel pipes have different functions. In industry, there are three commonly used welding methods for stainless welded steel pipes, do you know which three?
1. Argon arc welding
Because stainless welded steel pipes require deep welding and no oxide impurities, the heat-affected area should be as small as possible. Therefore, argon is used as a protective gas, and the high temperature generated by the tungsten electrode arc will melt the stainless steel and form a weld. This welding method not only has good welding quality, good penetration performance, high weld finish, but also stable operation, and its products are widely used in chemical, nuclear and food industries.
2. High-frequency welding
High frequency welding is the use of high frequency current through electromagnetic induction heating stainless steel plate welding edge, in the edge melting state through the pressure roll extrusion molding. High frequency welding power supply is large, for different materials, outer diameter, wall thickness of the steel pipe, can achieve a higher welding speed, compared with argon arc welding, welding speed is more than 10 times. From the point of view of welding materials, various types of austenitic stainless steel pipes can use high-frequency welding.
However, because the speed of high-frequency welding is too fast, the burrs in the welded pipe are difficult to remove. At present, the high-frequency welding technology of stainless welded steel pipes is still not accepted by the chemical industry and the nuclear industry, which is one of the reasons.
3. Combination welding technology
The combined welding methods are: argon arc welding and plasma welding, high frequency welding and plasma welding, high frequency preheating and three torch argon arc welding, high frequency preheating and plasma argon arc welding. Combination welding can significantly increase the welding speed. For high frequency preheated composite welded steel pipe, the weld quality can be comparable to conventional argon arc welding and plasma welding. The welding operation is simple, and the whole welding system is easy to automate. This combination is easy to connect with the existing high-frequency welding equipment, low investment cost and good efficiency.
